Day 32: Zhongwei

Zhongwei, a small city was the set off point for us to see the sunrise at some expansive sand dunes – out here in relative nowhere, we found massive fields of solar panels as well as a large coal processing plant. After wandering around the non-descript town, we watched as people gathered by the Yellow River that runs through the north of the city, at a park dedicated to the Yellow River upon which the city depended in its early days, where people gather with their children after work to enjoy the sunset.
