Day 54: Dongying Yellow River Mouth

Arriving at our final destination, Dongying, of Shandong province, a small city located at the mouth of the Yellow River. Here, the river flows through the city and into a small nature reserve, the Yellow River Estuary, before flowing in to the Bohai Sea.

At this point, the river has travelled 5464km across China. To observe the sun set over the mouth of the Yellow River was a fitting way to end our two month journey across the country.

Thanks to all for reading our blog throughout our time here, and hope we will be able to consolidate this body of work through the form of a book and short film!
